A little about me!
My name is Sara and I started Sister & Kin on October 2018. I have worked with fair trade artisans around the world for 7 years and there is nothing I enjoy more! Having this experience and a passion for textiles, design, and travel, I always knew that I want to start my own business, creating ethical and fair products that have a design focus and positive impact.
Design
Through Sister & Kin, I create bold and beautifully designed products that empower people across the globe, from the artisans I work with to the individuals wearing the products.
Taking pleasure in the simplicity of shape and colour I create timeless accessories without sacrificing on the quality of fabrics and finish.
Inspiration
Sister & Kin takes inspiration from travel, colour and all things wonderful to transform our passion for creativity and equality into stylish and fun accessories. It's imporant to me that I am creating relaxed ethical fashion pieces, that work for you and also encourage and empower the artisans behind the product.
Principles
I work closely with artisans to ensure a fair and ethical process from start to finish. All Sister & Kin products are fair trade, I care about the people behind the brand and aim to grow our community of like-minded individuals.
I’ve made a real commitment to further deepening my own understanding of sustainability and taking active steps to progress the brand to the next level.
High-quality ethical products are the future and it's exciting to be part of creating that culture.
